Our Favorite Thing – Cupcakes Gourmet in Frazer
August 10th, 2008We’re not sure what to make of the fact that gourmet cupcake bakers are popping up everywhere, but we’re sure happy they came to our neck of the woods. Frazer’s Cupcakes Gourmet offers a wide variety of traditional and trendy flavors, all of which are excellent. Our favorites so far are the chocolate with vanilla buttercream dipped in chocolate ganache and the chocolate chipotle (fridays only).
They aren’t cheap ($3.25 for a large, one-something for a mini), but keep in mind that these are hand-crafted treats, not mass-produced, supermarket junk. Stop by and check them out!

Girlfriend got me cupcakes from there over valentines day. Because i would not stop talking about this place or cupcakes in general for that matter for about 6 months straight, once i found out there was an actual cupcake supermarket. She got the half dozen mini’s and large sized ones. I agree some of the larger ones were a bit dry for the cake part but some weren’t. The mini ones were ok, very good flavors though. Think they could work on their batter, but i would def. go to cupcakes gourmet again. Probably not more than once a year, they are a little expensive.
Went over the weekend, Saturday at 3pm. Not much selection and cupcake part was very dry.
I give it 6 months……..
Actually, there is a woman there names Maku who is so fake with her attitude. You can just tell that she hates working there.
