Beer Pick: Brekenridge Pandora’s Bock

Looking for a malty beer to enjoy as the weather turns hot, we picked up a case ($38) of this at the Beer Yard in Wayne.

Smells yeasty, almost like a wet mop, if that could be considered ok. Up front, has a solid ale feel and a nice malty sweetness that doesn’t overwhelm. A restrained dose of hops keeps the finish balanced with just a hint of dry spice.

Overall, a very refreshing beer that would make for a great Spring/Summer session.
